Quality homecare from Careline
What is homecare?
Many individuals who require support can remain fully independent at home provided that their care needs are met. Careline is an agency which can help facilitate this by providing considerate and professional care staff who travel to you and provide care within your own household. This type of service is know as home care or domiciliary care.
By providing a care at home service you can rely on, we help you remain comfortable in the environment you are familiar with.
Homecare services provided by Careline
Careline supplies personal assistants or teams of care givers to provide ongoing support to older persons or to individuals with any form of disability including physical disability, learning disability or complex needs. We provide personal and social care. We are able to supply day or night cover for any hours necessary, with the shift hours tailored to your needs, subject to a minimum shift length of 4 hrs (please note there are a considerable number of care agencies specialising in visit shifts, which can be as short as 15 mins, Careline can work in cooperation with such services) We have many carers happy to do long days or nights if required.
Before your care service begins, Careline will conduct an assesment and produce a comprehensive care plan detailing all aspects of the care you require. Importantly, this is written with your full involvement. Since the care planning fully involves you, the individual requiring the service, you can be sure that all your needs will be met, and that the care is delivered in the way you would want it.
All Careline staff who come to you will have read the care plan before they arrive
Home from home care
The health and well being benefits of care at home are well known and widely accepted. By being aware of your normal routines, and sensitive to your needs we help you to maintain the existing pattern of your lifestyle.
We aim to provide dependable, ongoing and long term support, delivered by an individual Careline carer or a small team.
Paying for your care – Direct Payments/Individual Service Funds (ISF’s)
When a carer is supplied by Careline all of the employer responsibilities for that carer are taken care of by Careline, including all payroll and tax issues. Your payment to careline is your total expenditure for the service.
Careline accepts payments for care services under the Direct Payments system: Under Direct payments the local authority provides funds monthly to the individual requiring support, and the individual then uses that money to pay for their care services.
Careline is also an approved provider for ISF arrangements: Under an ISF the local authority places funds monthly with Careline and the individual requiring support can then use care services from Careline to the value of the funds provided.
We also provide homecare services to self funding individuals.
Careline is fully compliant with The Health and Social Care Act 2008, and is registered with the Care Quality Commission which has awarded Careline the highest rating – excellent. To see our most recent report, please visit www.cqc.org.uk. Careline is also an approved corporate member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, and is a registered body with the Criminal Records Bureau. We remain fully compliant with all relevant regulations and guidelines. All staff we supply have an enhanced police clearance, and written staff profiles are available by email or fax.
About Our Staff
We supply only fully experienced caregivers chosen for their knowledge and skills in care. We maintain a friendly, supportive relationship with our staff. Crucially, we allow our staff to perform their best by taking care to place them in the situations they are most suited to. Once a Careline agency staff has been with you, we will send you quality assurance feedback forms, so that you have the opportunity to give us your views on each homecare staff we have sent. These views are then fully taken into account when selecting personnel to send to you.
When you are happy with a number of agency staff we have sent to you, we will enhance continuity by selecting people from this group for your future cover.
All Careline homecare workers have passed through selection procedures covering aptitude, experience and reliability. As a group they have earned the highest reputation in the industry.
